1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I have extensive knowledge in the field of Field Services and Project Management. I’m a specialist in IT Governance, focused on Staff Management and Vendor Management Office. Currently, I’ve been working with a Government Property Agency client for 10 months and working with K2 for four months.

2. Tell us a little about your most recent K2 project.

The challenge was for myself, my team and managers to create a Vendor Management Office and Staff Management area for the client. We needed to carry-out mapping and structured control of contracts and the people allocated to consultancies. The goal was to generate better governance, structure, processes and tools to improve cost efficiency.

3. What do you enjoy most about your job?

I like the interaction and relationships I have with different people and the client's internal departments, in addition to the contact with partner suppliers. The communication between different professional levels within the client's business is great, generating a constant exchange of knowledge.

4. Which technical development do you think will have the biggest impact on your field or the wider world of IT over the next couple of years?

I believe that artificial intelligence will be increasingly used to eliminate repetitive tasks and support highly specialized services, saving people time to carry out other important activities for businesses.

5. What advice would you give to someone who is starting out as a freelance IT consultant?

Firstly, have humility, empathy and a strong desire to learn. Be a good listener to more experienced people to boost your knowledge. Never stop learning. After all, no one can take knowledge away from us.
