Manager, Business Development

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Manager, Business Development to join our fast-growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in order to drive revenue growth and market penetration. This is a strategic role that requires a deep understanding of the SAAS business ( Chatbots, Ecommerce, market automation etc.). Added advantage would be experience in short shoppable videos and livecommerce software solutions market. Must have strong business acumen, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a hunger to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with key accounts and prospects
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and support of business development initiatives
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and results to senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the livecommerce software solutions market and customer needs
- Proven track record of successfully closing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset
