Senior Support Engineer, SAP Basis HANA
Position Summary:
The company is seeking a Senior Support Engineer with over 10 years of relevant SAP experience, specializing in Basis, Middleware, and Enterprise Portal Administration, including dual-stack ABAP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP HANA configuration, installation, and administration, along with migration expertise using tools like DMO and SUM. Proficiency in SAP HANA SPS03/10, including modeling, is required. Additionally, hands-on experience with SAP BODS, SLT, and SDA for data extraction into HANA is essential. The role involves providing direct support to end-users, managing SAP implementations or upgrades, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and communication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of SAP experience with Basis, Middleware, and Enterprise Portal Administration
- Proficiency in SAP HANA configuration, installation, and administration
- Experience with SAP migrations to HANA using DMO and SUM
- Strong knowledge of SAP HANA SPS03/10 and HANA modeling
- Hands-on experience with SAP BODS, SLT, and SDA for data extraction into HANA
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager and ALM processes
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and Mandarin
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of multiple SAP modules and industry solutions
- Consulting background and experience with global implementations
- Familiarity with SAP localizations and country-specific solutions
Location: fully remote working from Asia Pacific countries including : Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, or The Philippines.
