SAP Basis Consultant (ECC/ S/4) (m/f/d)

Description:
The project handover should start immediately, so that the consultant can take over from mid-December 2024.
3-5 PT per month are scheduled. Approx. 10% onsite, 90% remote.
The project language is mandatory German and the majority of the work is to be carried out remotely.
We are looking for a Senior Consultant who will support and largely take over the basic support.
The following activities are included:
- Provision of technical support for the SAP Netweaver / ECC base infrastructure, including installation, configuration, security patches and support packages Maintenance and troubleshooting, which are operated on ECC and are to be migrated to S/4 HANA in the future
- Monitoring system performance, implementing improvements and optimizations to ensure smooth functioning and maximum performance (SAP system including database and operating system)
- Data backups and system or tenant copies. Setting up and monitoring transport management, executing transports
- Setting up and monitoring system connections
- Supporting the project team in planning and implementing upgrades, updates and patches
- Working closely with the functional SAP teams to ensure that the basic infrastructure meets the requirements of the business processes
- Documentation of processes, applications, parameters, etc. in SAP
- Support and training of SAP Basis admins at the customer's site - Assumption of 2nd and 3rd level support (SAP basis) as well as user and authorization management (if possible)
