About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead our Windows 10 to Windows 11 Migration as part of a major Workplace Separation Program. This role is central to ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in project management, IT infrastructure, and change management, and will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Drive the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the Windows migration project, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress, identifying and resolving issues as needed.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders to support seamless migration and minimize operational impact.
- System Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current infrastructure, identify challenges, and create mitigation strategies.
- Compatibility Assurance: Ensure all applications and systems are compatible with Windows 11, coordinating any updates or replacements required.
- Change Management: Implement strategies to support end-user adoption and ease the transition to the new operating system.
- Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress to stakeholders at all levels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, operations, and business units to drive project success.
- Compliance: Maintain adherence to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Post-Migration Review: Conduct a comprehensive review post-migration to gather feedback and identify opportunities for future improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in coordinating and executing large-scale system migrations, preferably with Windows OS.
- Strong background in change management and user adoption strategies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Windows 11 and compatibility assessments for applications and systems.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
