My client, a leading group in the Hospitality and Leisure industry, is looking for a Product Owner to manage both their project roadmap and the smooth run of the EPM applications. It is the opportunity to work for a global leader in an international and complex environment delivering state-of-the-art technology to their Finance Department working alongside C-levels and Directors.
Missions:
❖ BUILD (projects)
• Define project roadmap to ensure scalability, steady level of performance and sustainability of the solution.
• Collaborate with business process owners and other stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment with strategy and projects (build) during execution.
• Lead the Projects (planning, execution, and successful delivery of complex technical projects for the consolidation and FP&A scope).
❖ RUN
• Manage the OneStream Consolidation and Reporting application, ensuring they meet industry standards and compliance requirements
• Manage a team of developers and functional teams, including setting goals, conducting code reviews, and providing mentorship and guidance.
• Manage integrations and ensure system scalability, security, performance and reliability
• Oversee hosting and manage technical third-party providers
• Oversee and manage maintenance and user support across all levels (L1, L2, L3).
• Ensure the Security and Compliance (Privacy Policy, GDPR) of the platform.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Drive the functional and technical discussions and develop plans to improve the solution quality, system design, and development processes.
• Governance. Establish and supervise the product development lifecycle, encompassing requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to software architecture, design, and coding.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in technology, integrating them into the design and development of new systems and features
• Troubleshoot and manage issues in dev, test, and production environments.
Education & Background
• Team Management
• Strong background in system consolidation, group reporting, and management control
• Proven track record of maintaining a (set of) application(s) around consolidation Finance processes (closing process, performance, security, functional, availability)
• Complete knowledge of IT processes (incident, problem and change management) and Finance processes (general accounting, consolidation and reporting, budget, planning, etc.)
• Several experiences in managing application teams.
