Product Management / HR Tech Transformation Expert JD:
Scope of Work:
Validate and assist in reviewing HR Tech Agenda initiative:
- Guidance and support in defining the target value stream aligned organization design considering Team Topologies outlining roles, responsibilities, and working model/reporting structures throughout the product lifecycle
- Define key product management practices that need to be established or enhanced incl. key methods, processes
- Define future product groups and individual products within the HR product landscape
- Guide the team in defining a clear product vision/strategy
- Establish an outcome-based product roadmap aligned with strategic objectives and priorities and collaborate with Architects for the definition of the technology roadmap
- Develop a Resource Management framework, including processes for budget allocation, financial reporting and controlling, and investment prioritization for product development
- Validate and complete the Governance Framework (Chapter 3) by developing a comprehensive set of guidelines, policies, and procedures for effective governance
Accelerate the transformation of HR/DBT Multidisciplinary Product Team:
- Develop a comprehensive training framework to empower the product management team with the necessary skills and knowledge to successfully implement and enhance both HR and DBT functions, with a specific focus on the Product Management
- Identify the current team structure, roles, and skills. Determine areas where skills or expertise are lacking or where additional support is needed in terms of training or complementary roles
- Offer expert guidance and best practices in HR Technology Transformation initiatives, ensuring validation of the client's overall approach and prioritization for the HR Tech Agenda initiative
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a lead product manager in large scale strategic transformation programs with focus on moving from project orientation to products, ideally with a focus on internal services
- Strong product ideation and hypothesis driven design capabilities
- Ability to identify product types and products that would support a strategic HR services transformation initiative
- Experience in value and outcome driven analysis and planning
- Effective stakeholder research execution
- Outside in (User Journey Mapping) and inside out (Value Stream Mapping) analysis
- Opportunity analysis using opportunity trees or other frameworks
- Ability to communicate and market products
- Familiar with Agile story mapping, agile prioritization, incremental planning and definition of product roadmaps
- Experience in enabling and guiding junior product managers in roles, responsibilities and best practices
- Understand the importance of UX design principles
- Basic understanding of the development lifecycle of software products
- Expertise in engaging and communicating with top management and senior level stakeholders
- Familiarity with HR products such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, Phenom People would be a significant advantage
- Familiarity with (Swiss) HR processes, best practices, Swiss regulations and best practices would be a significant advantage
- Familiarity with Generative AI would be considered an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in German would be significant advantage
Business Architect (experienced in HR transformation) JD:
Scope of Work
- Review, consult and actively contribute in the formulation of the functional blueprint document
- Review the Strategic Framework (Chapter 1) and propose necessary concrete changes considering the different stakeholder views
- Validation and completion of HR stakeholders, user groups and needs
- As-Is and Target design and mapping of HR function, value streams, capabilities, key processes (Recruiting, Onboarding, HR Administration, Payroll Management), business objects, and mapping to underlying technology in collaboration with the Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects.
- Finalize the Envisioning the Future section (Chapter 2) by addressing topics such as Guiding Principles, HR Function, HR Service Value Chain, HR Target Operating Model & Responsibilities, Employee Target Experience and Engagement, HR Business Capability Map, defining the HR Key Processes in scope (Recruit, Onboard, HR Admin, and Payroll)
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and optimizing business architectures in the Human Resources domain
- Experience in strategic design, business capability mapping, value streams, user journeys, and process modelling
- Stakeholder mapping and analysis
- Experience in creating, using, and communicating model-based representations of business solutions (ArchiMate, BPMN, UML)
- Ability to collect and correlate disconnected documentation and diagrams to address important business issues
- Ability to execute trade-off analysis and effectively communicate options for top management to decide
- Workshop planning and facilitation using mural or other tools
- Good understanding of solution architecture as enabler for business architecture
- TOGAF business architecture certification is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in German being a significant advantage
